On Monday, St-Germain, (the elderflower liqueur that mixologists and cocktail-lovers can't get enough of) held its Harvest Party at New York's Bowery Hotel. The winner of St-Germain's Can Can Classic cocktail competition was announced and Benjamin Sandrof from Number 9 Park in Boston won for his Sureau Fizz recipe.
Sureau Fizz
2 oz. Gin
1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
1 oz. St-Germain
3 drops Orange Flower Water
1 1/2 oz. Heavy Cream
1 Fresh Raw Egg White
1 oz. Soda Water
Method: Shake all ingredients until ice is gone and pour into Collins glass. Top with soda water. Garnish with orange oil.
To fit in with St-Germain's turn of the century Parisian theme, guests were encouraged to play dress up in early 20th century-style hats before stepping into the old fashioned photo booths. Cheers!
