California native MARI TZIKAS has Greece in her blood, which was why CITY pegged her for a tour of Athens in this issue’s Insider (page 108). Tzikas, a former CITY intern, studied architecture before shifting gears to study journalism at NYU. “Athens has an immeasurable wealth of things I love: fun neighborhoods, beaches, history and culture, rich, flavorful foods and an eclectic mix of people,” says Tzikas, who will return again to the city this summer.
