July 31, 2008: Seize sur Vingt, New York's premier bespoke clothier, celebrated its 10-year anniversary in its Nolita store garden with a bash featuring DJs Love on the Run, Pete Nice & KMF and fine Italian hors d'oeuvres served by Little Frankies. CITY's Taste Issue Launch Party

CITY teamed up with Cabana Cachaca on July 1 to celebrate the release of its summer issue at the Soho Grand's courtyard. May 18, 2008 - CITY Magazine sponsored a series of exhibitions and events at the 3rd Annual Meatpacking Design Week in New York City. Showcased were iconic masterworks from the Netherlands at Eve Studio, new innovations from NY based designers at Rubin Chapelle, and designs from rising star Jeff Miller at Carlos Miele. Elmer Ave rocks at Gibson

Designers for the revolutionary high-fashion formal wear line Elmer Ave, hosted a night of appreciation at the intimate Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills earlier this month. Marani Premium Vodka cocktails flowed generously and guests like London socialite Monk, Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles, and members of the band The Royal Heist made cameo appearances with the night's entertainment, Numchuck, the band that was the inspiration for Elmer Ave, which created clothing for their shows. Numchuck rocked a rowdy set for the crowd and sponsors that included CITY Magazine, Marani Premium Vodka, Gibson Guitars and Monster Energy Drink. In the coming months Elmer Ave is hosting a series of events in five cities, fusing fashion and music together live, the first of which kicks off at the exclusive Les Deux in Hollywood.

October 24 -- CITY Magazine and W Hotels hosted W Happenings in different cities to celebrate CITY Magazine's ONE CITY, MANY DESTINATIONS travel photography competition. This W Happening took place a fish's throw from the Pike Place Market at the W Seattle. The White Space showcased the winning photos in the Living Room for a one-night only viewing.

This W Happening took place in the heart of San Diego. St. Germain served signature cocktails from their Elderflower liqueur. The winning photographs were on display for the month of October.

September 27, 2007 -- The winning cover and finalist images from the ONE CITY, MANY DESTINATIONS travel photography competition were showcased at Bellevarado Studios. Guests enjoyed a tasting of Pan-Asian hors d'oeuvres from Andrew Belchic's Empress Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard. New York -- September 26, 2007. CITY Magazine hosted a special event at The Art Directors Club to display the 16 winning images from its first annual ONE CITY, MANY DESTINATIONST travel photography competition. Over 4,000 amateur and professional photographers from around the world submitted images for a chance to win the ultimate grand prize: CITY magazine's cover shot, a LEICA M8 professional camera with a Leica Elmarit 28mm f2.8 lens, 3-night stay at any W Hotel in the continental U.S. or Canada, round-trip airline tickets for two, and a $500 gift certificate to Calumet Photographic. The Grand-prize winner, Konstantino Hatzisarros, was awarded his prize package at the event by two of the competition's judges: Fabrice Frere, CITY's Creative Director, and Christian Erhardt, Marketing Director for Leica, USA. NEW YORK -- CITY Magazine, the luxury lifestyle magazine, hosted an exclusive event August 22 at the stylish SoHo Grand Hotel Garden to celebrate the release of its 50th issue. The milestone issue, which focused on the intersection of Fashion and Art, was guest-edited by fashion insider Bill Powers. Notable artists, designers, award-winning photographers, and media execs mingled under the summer stars and enjoyed Grey Goose signature cocktails, while musician Yotam Silberstein performed live on his electric guitar. Los Angeles, CA -- July 12, 2007 CITY Magazine, the luxury lifestyle magazine, hosted an exclusive event to celebrate the release of Taste Summer, the Food & Entertaining Issue. The event took place at Andrew Belchic's newest jaunt on Sunset Boulevard, Empress Restaurant. Empress, listed at #101 in CITY's Summer Entertaining Issue's "Restaurants We Love", treated 100 VIP guests to a tasting of Pan-Asian hors d'oeuvres and unveiled its feature recipe in CITY. In accompaniment to the tasting, Imperia Vodka served signature cocktails: the Classic Martini and the Royal POM, a unique take on the Cosmo. To accentuate the ambiance, Rimmel Cosmetics applied traditional Geisha style makeup to the servers and artist Steve Fawley showcased his vibrant Geisha renditions. Music sets were played by DJ Luther and Johnny. VIP Guests left the event with a one-week pass to Equinox Fitness Clubs, CDs by Thrive, a preview sample of EBOOST to keep them going, copies of LeBook 2007, and gift cards supplied by Willow Stream Spas and Alicia Shulman Jewelry. Nikita Clothing filled the gift bags with sweaters and jackets. Michael Stars boasted their brag books and Diesel supplied belts. Guests left Empress with all senses satisfied!
